Search Google

Run a Google search and extract the top organic result cards. Returns title, url, site, byline, meta, and snippet per card. Gotcha: use Google query syntax (e.g. site:linkedin.com/posts) for targeted searches; the /url?q= wrapper is stripped from urls.

Full Google query, e.g. 'site:linkedin.com/posts AI agents' or any free-text search.

n optional

Maximum number of organic result cards to return.

Default: 10

freshness optional

Canonical Google time filter (mapped to tbs=qdr:<value>). One of h (past hour), d (past 24h), w (past week), m (past month), y (past year), optionally with a multiplier: d2 = past 2 days, w3 = past 3 weeks, m6 = past 6 months, h5 = past 5 hours. Omit for all-time.

sortByDate optional

When true, sort results by date (newest first) instead of relevance (tbs=sbd:1). Combines with freshness.
